Visiting Unionville

Unionville is a small town located near Markham (HWY7 & Main St.) was first settled by German pioneers in the 1790s. The Main Street has maintained much of its late 19th C charm, with many historical houses and buildings. The main street is lined with shops and restaurants and holds an old town atmosphere.

Waterfall at the lake on northen part of the town (home for wild ducks and turtles) soothes with its sound:

We have had seafood linguini with a lots of shrimps, calamari and scallops, and of course a bottle of beer. For those who likes canadian beer we strongly do not recommend "Leffe" abbaye-de-Abdij-van (Belgian beer). Its very bitter and tastes like tar. Do not experiment! Stick to what you know better!
